ABOUT

Therapeutic Massage That
Actually Solves the Problem
Most people walk into Massage and Motion carrying something specific: a stubborn knot that's been there for months, post-surgery scar tissue, a running injury that won't quit, or the kind of full-body tightness that comes from years of stress and bad chairs.
You don't need another hour of generic relaxation. You need someone who can find the actual problem, work on it skillfully, and get you back to pain free movement.
That's the work we do.
Meet Christopher Stubbs, LMT #10808
I grew up in the UK playing competitive rugby at the college and youth international level, which also meant plenty of time on the wrong end of injuries, sports physios, and frustrating recovery timelines. That experience is what pushed me into Sports Therapy: I wanted to give people the kind of hands-on, "here's exactly what's going on with your body" care I wished I'd had as an athlete.
Today I bring 15+ years of experience to every session, whether you're a runner battling plantar fasciitis, dealing with chronic back or neck pain, recovering from surgery, navigating TMJ dysfunction, or just trying to undo what a desk job is doing to your shoulders. The goal is always the same: pain free movement, restored.
I’ve been dedicated to improving people's quality of life since 2010. I love empowering patients to understand their bodies and discovering the why and how's of different techniques and interventions.

What Makes My Sessions Different
The Educational Approach to Pain Free Movement
Anyone can rub a sore muscle. What we do is different.
In every session, we'll show you what I'm finding where the restriction is, why it's referring pain somewhere else, and how the technique I'm using is going to address it. You'll leave each appointment knowing a little more about your own body: which movements are feeding the problem, which stretches will keep the progress going, and what to watch for.
Clients tell us they get more lasting results this way, because you're not just a passive recipient of bodywork, you're an active part of the fix.
What to Expect
A real conversation first. We want to understand your history, your goals, and what's actually hurting, not just hand you an intake form.
A targeted plan. Whether that's deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point therapy, cupping, myofascial scraping, or assisted stretching the modality fits the problem, not the other way around.
Take-home strategy. Stretches, mobility cues, or movement tweaks you can actually use between sessions.
